Gilded stucco, signed and dated 1969 on the back by Maurice (Pico) Picaud (1900-1977).
66x44 cm (26x17 inches) with wooden frame.
Original Stucco by Maurice (Pico) Picaud reproducing the facade he designed in 1926 for the legendary Parisian cabaret Les Folies Bergère.
In 1926, Maurice Pico is chosen to decorate the facade of the legendary Parisian cabaret Les Folies Bergère. He decides to represent the Russian ballerina Lila Nikolska, one of the two stars of the cabaret with Josephine Baker.
Our golden Stucco is one of the very rare signed and dated by the artist himself.
