These charming shades of marbles and stones are a rare Italian wall decoration a must have for Grand Tour collectors. Lovely 19th century Italian specimen marble and stone panel bought as souvenir by an English Grand Tourist during the late 19th century and then framed with a beautiful shaped gilded plaster frame of English origin, with glass. Good condition, the 27 oval stones are inserted in a dark textile panel. Lapislazuli, malachite, alabaster, antique yellow, serpentine, antique green, green porphyry, Siena yellow, red porphyry, African and much more. Measures: Height: 40.3 cm, width: 30.5 cm, depth: 4 cm. Please kindly notice that this artwork is shipped from Italy. Under existing legislation, any artwork in Italy created over 70 years ago requires a governative license for export called Belle Arti. The shipping may require additional 3-4 handling weeks to require and get the license according to the final destination of the artwork.
