Beauty and the Beast - La Belle et la Bête is a 1946 French romantic fantasy film. Directed by French poet and filmmaker Jean Cocteau. Starring Josette Day as Belle and Jean Marais as the Beast,
Based on an adaption of the 1757 story Beauty and the Beast, written by Jeanne-Marie Leprince de Beaumont and published as part of a fairy tale anthology.
This original vintage movie poster is linen-backed and is sized approx. 45 3/4 x 61 1/4inches (plus a little more with the linen). It will be sent rolled (unframed).
