Pair of Framed Baroque-Style Fans, Italy 1940s
This pair of framed Baroque-style fans from the 1950s embodies the refined decorative taste that was highly popular in Italy at the turn of the 20th century.
Each fan is elegantly encased in a custom-made, curved glass frame with a gilded solid wood border, preserving its delicate craftsmanship.
The fans themselves feature intricate detailing: one showcases a hand-painted floral motif with warm hues and a black lace trim, while the other displays a more ethereal composition with soft tones and delicate embellishments. The fan guards and ribs are finely ornamented, adding to their decorative appeal. The pink fabric background enhances the contrast between the fans and their surroundings, bringing depth and elegance to the composition.
Both pieces are in excellent condition, with only minor signs of aging.
