About the Item
Wonderful original vintage French Picon alcohol poster designed by Jean Scelles. Stunning design on a strikingly large scale.
Picon is the brand name for a bittersweet French apéritif with a unique orange flavour. In French, amer means "bitter," and this spirit is known best as Amer Picon (or Picon Amer). Made with orange peels, gentian root, and cinchona, Amer Picon appeared in the original recipes for many classic cocktails
This vintage poster is sized 35 1/2 x 50 1/2 inches and in rolled linen-backed excellent condition. It will be sent rolled (unframed).
