An atmospheric impressionist style water colour of the skyline of the English University Town of Cambridge all done in pastel inspired colours. The work is boldly signed Barclay at the lower right hand corner of the drawing but initials above it are not so clearly defined. The painting could be the work of John Rankin Barclay but this is speculative at this point.
