1963 Eugene Conlon American Regionalist "Farm Relic" Watercolor


Conlon's work is reminiscent of Andrew Wyeth's regional style of Christina's World and Public Sale. Wonderfully detailed and painted with peaceful clarity. Signed lower right, Eugene Conlon, 63. Watercolor on paper. The framing treatment consists of a simple wood molding, burlap matte under glass. The piece has not been viewed out of the frame, but is in good condition with the no visible, rips, tears or restorations. There is some very light foxing (see photos). Exhibition label and original price on the reverse. The overall dimensions are 37" x 29" and the sight dimensions of the piece are 30" wide x 21" high.
