An American artist, Miripolsky studied painting at the Art Institute of Chicago in the early 1940s and has exhibited throughout the world since 1945. His work portrays very personal emotional experiences, expressed through color and form reminiscent of works by Wassily Kandinsky and Mark Rothko.
