Oil on wood panel depicting a bay scene with an inlet bay surrounded by autumnal trees and rocks, two fisherman in a boat in the center, sailboats in background, mountains in the distance and set against a pastel sky.
Presented in a distressed silver gilt frame.
Dimensions:
Board - 14" x 18"
Frame - 19 3/4" x 15 3/4" x 3/4"
Condition: Various signs of age include craquelure throughout, minor scratches to the left side of the painting in the tree area, scratch to upper right, flake and wear along the right edge, heavily worn and distressed frame. Despite the wear, the painting retains a serene and dream like presentation.
