This is an original vintage Danish oil on plate painting of a rural landscape with houses and a clouded sky. The strokes of the painting is soft and expressive.
The painting is by Danish artist Jacob Meyer (1895-1971), known for both his landscape and genre paintings.
This painting is signed in the lower left corner and framed in solid gold painted wooden frame.
The painting is in very good vintage condition with a little wear in the gold paint of the frame (Please see photos).
