A beautiful large-scale work by the Japanese artist, Kasugai, circa 1970. This is handmade paper, with natural grasses and fibers which were dyed by hand. Kasugai was an award winning artist, who cut natural grasses, and made his pieces from things such as mulberry pulp. His studio was in a mountainous rural area of Japan. This piece is unframed.
