About the Item
An attractive original oil on canvas of Colonel Ronnie Hoare at the wheel of his famous blue Ferrari 365 GTB/4 Daytona at speed.
The car with personalised number plate, RJH 77 (R J Hoare) and displaying his BRDC badge, with a figure in the background on a shoot with two hunting dogs. Framed and unglazed.
Additional Notes: This painting was commissioned by the Colonel from his friend, the artist Dion Pears, for display in his office at Maranello Concessionaires Ltd, Egham, Surrey between 1965 and 1975.
