Continental, 19th century. A fine quality antique porcelain plaque depicting John The Evangelist after the original antiquity by Domenichino (Italian, 1581-1641). The plaque depicts a young John The Evangelist pearing at a hawk holding his quill with a snake circling a gold cup. Handwriting to verso of plaque. Approx: 6.25" W x 8.125" H.
