French 19th Century Still-Life Oil Painting Depicting Pansies in Giltwood Frame

A French framed oil on panel still-life painting from the late 19th century depicting pansies, in giltwood frame. Created in France during the later years of the 19th century, this oil painting depicts a bouquet of pansies displayed in a teal-colored vase. Boasting lovely pastel colors including blue, pink, purple and yellow tones, the pansies are joyously standing out on a brown background, the ensemble resting on a table top. The light, coming from the left, is creating a subtle sense of contrast that enlivens the scene.
