Post Impressionist Grand Tour style Venetian oil painting on prepared Masonite panel - titled verso 'PALAZZO DUCALE, VENEZIA' - featuring the Doge's Palace on the Grand Canal with boats, people and St. Marks Basilica in the distance - finished with a softwood frame in a silver painted finish (likely original to the painting) - signed lower right (G. E. I d H. - unknown/unidentified) - Italy (Venice) - circa 1950's.
Excellent vintage condition - no loss - no damage - no restoration - frame painted silver (originally black) - minor scuffs to the frame - signs of age and use.
