Harvey Parks Signed Acrylic Painting Custom Framed Vintage
About the Item
This theatrical fantastic acrylic horizontal painting by the noted Harvey Parks is in a beautiful new custom frame. It could be a scene at an opera, could be a role reversal or a very interesting scenario in wonderful shades of browns, gray, hint of light blue, pink and raspberry and dusty rose. It is signed Parks. He was an American Modern Expressionist painter and his life span was from 1948-2017. He graduated from the Pratt Institute in 1966. During his painting career he was commissioned to do murals in California. At that time, he began selling both in the USA and Europe. Parks the painter had a wide range of styles from realistic to abstract imagery. His later works remain imaginative and provocative. This painting below has strong dramatic imagery of a poetic nature. It is part theatrical, part Baroque, part modern, part fantastic. It is dated and signed Parks 84. He was from NYC. This is a fantastic painting with great imagery and fantasy. The new custom frame adds to the beauty. This was framed circa 15 years ago. The painting is from 1984 and dated.
