Landscape at dusk with characters by Marco Ricci’s follower – XVIII century
This oil-on-canvas painting portrays a typical Venetian countryside landscape at dusk.
The chromatic choice, namely the predominance of the brown palette, together with the peculiar use of red as base color, allows to identify the author as a follower of great Venetian masters of the XVIII century, especially Marco Ricci.
The overall condition of the artwork is excellent.
The frame is made of gilded wood.
