"Landscape". Signed. HENRY, Victor (France, 1855 - 1942).

Signed in the lower left corner.
Frame made of golden wood. With water stains.
In this watercolor Victor Henry constructs the space using only the color and the light, suggesting different planes and zones of light and of shade, actively using the vacuum, in the way of the oriental artists. Painter and watercolorist specialized in the field of landscape, Victor Henry generally preferred landscapes involving ponds, rivers and lakes, which allowed him to experiment with light, reflections and colors. To this day he is represented in several private collections."
