About the Item

The following is a "Tang Dynasty Figure" written by Fuko Matsumoto using a unique brush stroke. [Matsumoto Fuuko] 1840-1923 Japanese painter from the Meiji to Taisho periods. orn in Hitachi (Ibaraki Prefecture). His real name is Takatada. He is Hiroga and Naga in separate issues. Born on September 4, 1995. He learned from Kazue Oki, Nagaumi Satake, and Yosai Kikuchi, and created historical paintings and illustrations. He was involved in the founding of the Japan Art Academy, and became a Bunten judge and a member of the Imperial Art Academy. He opened the Angado Art School and trained artists such as Shiko Imamura and Gyoshu Hayami. Died on June 22, 1920.
