This work is signed and dated "PLUM 2013" recto and verso of the canvas; canvas size - 16" x 20; heavy wood frame with antique aged patina effect: 21” x 25” x 1.75”; inspired by Plum’s numerous trips to Cuba, somewhat of a second home for him. Andrew Plum was born in Lancashire, England in 1965 and moved to Canada at the age of 21. His long association with the fine art and antiques business, particularly Asian works of art, influences Plum's work. His vibrant paintings are characterized by sensuous use of color and pallet work. One could call it Abstract Expressionism or Automatism, but Plum’s colorful, often winsome or enlightening stories and travels emerge seamlessly through the abstraction, creating a unique and bold history of images open to interpretation. Andrew Plum’s works are held in numerous corporate and private collections.

Andrew Plum was born in Lancashire, England in 1965 and moved to Canada at the age of 21.
