Exceptional oil on canvas portrait depicting a nobleman in ecclesiastical attire on a neutral background, possibly the Madrid School. The character presents a dignified pose, of great elegance, sitting on a chair that has barely been sketched. The rotundity of his face, three-quarter length, looking at infinity, captures his physiognomy as well as his spiritual aspects. The mastery of the painter to achieve it through a thick but precise brushstroke, which perfectly draws his features, is to be praised. It is worth highlighting the special brightness of his eyes.
