Born in Italy and lived mainly in France. He was an Italian post impressionist painter. He exhibited at the Societe des Artistes Inde'pendants and later at Salon des Tuileries and Salon d' Automne. He spent much of his career painting in France. Eventually he came to America. Beautiful carved wood frame. Provenance ; Findlay Gallery, Chicago.
