The Church of the Holy Saviour or Heilandskirche, is a Lutheran church located in Potsdam, Germany. Its construction began in 1844 in the Italian style, a style appreciated by King Frederick William IV of Prussia.
After the reunification of Germany, the church, which was then located in the border area, was restored and then listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site with Sacrow Castle.
Paul Soborg (1852-1937) was a German impressionist/post-impressionist painter who mainly exhibited in Germany from 1894.
