About the Item
20th c., an unusual pair of watercolors in the style of Pompeian wall of ceiling decor. Both are on paper mounted on board in plexiglass shadow box frames to create a three dimensional effect. Both contain classical motifs including swags and medallions. One is sweetly painted with small animals around the outer border. No signature is observed on either painting.

Condition:
Good, corners slightly curling, not examined out of frames. Show well. Ready to hang.
