When looking through the windows of the house we see decorations and people at the table. The farmhands are busy drying the hay on the right side. Many animals roam the yard, such as chickens, roosters, dogs, and cats. The trees behind the house are also wonderfully detailed with leaves and birds. On the tile, second to the right, on the bottom row we see a stone with the date 1840 and the signature I VD W. Peter Sprangers, an important researcher of tile history, stated that this was the most refined Rotterdam tile panel of Johannes van der Wolk he had ever seen also that the tile panel is extra special because of the date and signature.
