Exquisite and colorful original oil on canvas painting by 20th century French painter, Joan Mayor, from the 1940s, depicts a ravishing woman or pin-up girl with wavy brunette hair, sultry red lips and an expectant expression, lounging on a hunter green and a burgundy pillow on top of a teal surface and partially covered by sheer, diaphanous pale green chiffon. Lavish mauve drapery finishes the colorful tableau.
Signed, "Joan Mayor" in lower right.
Image measures approximately 28” wide x 22.75” high. Frame measures approximately 33.5” wide x 28.5” high x 2” deep.
