About the Item
A rare set of 4 exquisitely executed gouaches of Naples and surrounding area, showing unusual scenes of the bays of Amalfi, Sorrento, the golf of Baja (Sardinia) and Tempi Di Pesti in Salerno (Campania). Each with finely detailed scenes of buildings, figures on horseback and trees in landscapes. Beautiful vivid colours and excellent condition. Circa 1830.
