About the Item
An antique gouache (watercolor) painting of a basket with flowers, painted on paper. Signed right under; D. Seydlitz. Origin unclear, probably Belgium, around 1870-1880. In a gold leaf gilded frame in French Règence style. The whole is in a pinewood case, with a glass front, to preserve the fragile colors.
