Our experiences are often translated into visual symbols. A familiar object, place, or even certain colors come to symbolize the complicated fabric of entire sections of our lives. Images that become a part of our personal iconic language act as classification systems for making sense of repeating but ever-changing patterns.
The arrangement of the paintings and the pairing of imageries attempt to make connections between the skins and layers that define our understandings of the physical, spiritual, and emotional world, and the threads that hold it all together.
