About the Item
Signed lower right. Painted from a photograph by the mountaineer- part of the Mt. Loki ridge with rough rust tone peaks, partially covered with snow. The sun illuminates them from the right, with the backs in the shade. Other ice capped peaks are in the distance.

Documentation in a 1967 letter to the artist from the scholar mountaineer, Donald C. Morton, from the Princeton U. Observatory, who climbed and named the peak.

gilt wood frame 35 3/4 x 32", Depth 2"
Condition: very good condition with acceptable age-related wear including slight scrapes to the frame which do not detract from the majestic presentation. Please see photos for details of condition.
