A workbench used by a lacquer craftsman/Before 1972/Like an abstract painting

About the Item

We have a unique Japanese aesthetic sense. And only we can introduce unique items through our purchasing channels in Japan and the experience we have gained so far, in such a way that no one else can imitate. This item is a workbench used by lacquer craftsmen. It is a wooden box, and the top plate was used to spread the lacquer, adjust the amount, and knead it. By using it for many years, the colors will overlap in many layers, giving it a deep beauty. It looks like an abstract painting. Inside the box, old books are cut out and pasted. Information about the item is written on the back of the top plate. Its contents are -A lacquer workbench used in 1972 to repair the lacquer part during the renovation of the main hall of a temple called "Tennei" Temple located on the western edge of Tokyo. - "Tennei" Temple is an old temple that is said to have been built between 938 and 946. Therefore, this workbench is thought to have been made before 1972. It is very rare to find notes like this that indicate how an item was used. The number of tools used by lacquer craftsmen is decreasing year by year. This is a rare item. Please hang it on the wall and display it like a painting. Highly recommended. • Japanese Antique Ink Painting / 19th Century / Rare Chinese Character Painting
    Located in Sammu-shi, Chiba
We have a unique Japanese aesthetic sense. And only we can introduce unique items through our purchasing channels in Japan and the experience we have gained so far, in such a way that no one else can imitate. It is an ink painting written after the Meiji era. The biggest attraction of this work is that it uses Chinese characters to create paintings. To explain in detail, it is written here in Chinese characters as "un-ryu" . "Un" is a cloud and "ryu" is a dragon. These are embodied and drawn by comparing them to the meaning of Chinese characters. And the clouds depict the clouds hanging over the mountain, and the dragon depicts the climbing toward the mountain. Humorous paintings...
