About the Item
One of the most iconic poster designs of the 20th century by one of the most revered poster artists. Founded in 1836 Cognac Pellisson is a French Liquour company that continues to today. Here the poster promoting the brand depicts a woman carrying an oversized barrel of the cognac in typical humour.
This beautiful poster for the French brandy was designed by Leonetto Cappiello. One of the most iconic poster designers of all time, the French-Italian artist Leonetto Cappiello worked with many brands to create a number of varied posters across the early part of the 20th century. This poster was created in 1905, printed by Vercasson in Paris. The piece is in mint condition.
