Great poster advertising the "Eeuwfeest Vincent van Gogh" or "100 years of Vincent van Gogh" at museums and galleries around the Dutch city of Amsterdam. Galleries including the Rijksmuseum were involved in the celebration of the artists work, which ran March - September 1953 at venues across the city. The legendary expressionist painter was well known for being commercially unsuccessful during his lifetime, and the artwork depicted here is one of his final pieces "Old Vineyard With Peasant Woman" from 1890.

Vincent van Gogh
Vincent van Gogh, born on March 30, 1853, in the Netherlands, was a Dutch post-impressionist painter. He is known for his emotionally charged and vibrant paintings, such as "Starry Night" and "Sunflowers." Van Gogh struggled with mental health issues throughout his life and tragically died by suicide on July 29, 1890, at the age of 37. Despite his short and troubled life, his art has had a lasting and influential impact on the world of art.
