Original vintage advertising poster celebrating the racing achievements using Castrol motor oil featuring a dynamic design depicting a Jaguar car driving at speed on a track at night with the title in bold black and red lettering above 10,000 miles at 106 mph using improved Castrol, and information text on the blue banner below, on the Monza circuit a standard Jaguar 3.8 Mk 2 Saloon completed a total of 10,000 miles at an average speed of 106.5 m.p.h. The drivers, Geoff Duke, P. Lumsden, P. Sargent, J. Bekaert and A. Hedges broke 4 International Class C records during the run including 4 days at a speed of over 106 m.p.h. with the Castrol logo on the side. Good condition, restored folds, restored tears, light staining, backed on linen.
