Original Vintage Formula 1 Poster, Österreichring Car Circuit, c.1987
The Spielberg Circuit, previously called Österreichring then A1-Ring and now Red Bull Ring, is a racing circuit located in the municipality of Spielberg in Austria. It is often incorrectly indicated that the circuit is located at Zeltweg because this town is better known than Spielberg.
Before taking place on the Österreichring, the Austrian Automobile Grand Prix took place on the Zeltweg circuit.
A very technical circuit, it is known for having hosted the Austrian Automobile Grand Prix for eighteen years, from 1970 to 1987. Since 1969, it has hosted the 1,000 kilometers of Zeltweg which, since 2013, have been part of the European Championship endurance.
