Original antique poster for Oberursel propeller motors / Oberurseler Umlaufmotor Motorenfabrik Oberursel. Stunning artwork by the notable German poster artist Ludwig Hohlwein (1874-1949) featuring two men in WWI military uniform standing in front of a propeller engine plane against an orange and white background with the text above and below in stylised silver grey letters. Motorenfabrik Oberursel (since 1891) was a German manufacturer of rotary engines for cars, locomotives and planes, including aircraft engines during World War One; now part of Rolls Royce Deutschland. Printed in Germany by Kornsand & Co., Frankfurt & M. Fair condition, creasing, staining, paper losses in left margin, tears.
