Original vintage German Railways travel poster featuring a stunning Art Deco design by the German artist Wilhelm 'Willy' Dzubas (b. 1887) depicting a steam train running along a high arched railway bridge above the trees and river in the valley below, the water running next to a mill in front of mountains on the horizon, the bold stylised title and rest of the text in blue below - The Black Forest Germany Information and handbooks from all tourist agencies and travel bureaus German tourist information office 665 Fifth Avenue New York City. The Black Forest / Schwarzwald is located in Baden-Wurttemberg in southwest Germany. The view likely depicts the Ravenna Bridge railway viaduct with the Ravena Gorge below. Good condition, small paper loss on the right edge, repaired tears on edges, repaired pinholes, backed on linen.
