Original vintage advertising poster for The Sunday Times featuring a fun and colourful illustration of a Royal Queen's Guard in the iconic red uniform and a tall bearskin hat standing next to a sentry box made of newspaper clippings with the caption - Alert - above him and The Sunday Times logo and text below. One of the posters from a series by the English graphic artist, science fiction author and screenwriter Patrick Tilley (1928-2020) issued for The Sunday Times newspaper (founded 1821). Good condition, tears, creasing, paper loss in the left margin.
