Original vintage advertising poster for the Danish Ekstra Bladet newspaper featuring a fun illustration of four smiling men in uniform jackets and hats with papers reading - Elstra Bladet Kommer Overalt / Ekstra Bladet Comes Everywhere - riding in a green WWII military jeep with a British RAF Royal Air Force roundel on the bonnet marked Danmarks trediestorste dagblad / Denmark's third largest daily newspaper below the windscreen, the newspaper heading and logo above in stylised red lettering and below. The Ekstra Bladet tabloid newspaper was founded in 1904 as a supplement to the Politiken political newspaper; in 1905 it was established as a separate news, sports and entertainment publication based in Copenhagen. Very good condition, foxing, staining, restored tears, minor browning on edges.
