Original vintage advertising poster issued by the Empire Marketing Board EMB - Buy Home Produced Cheese - featuring a great design by Frederick Charles Herrick (1887-1970) depicting a lion looking at the viewer with the bold lettering and EMB logo below. The Empire Marketing Board (1926-1933) was formed to promote intra-Empire trade. Printed for H.M. Stationery Office by Thos. Forman and Sons, Nottingham. Good condition, repaired tears, staining, restored pinholes, backed on linen.
