Original vintage drink advertising poster for The Vineyards Of France / Les Vignobles De France Production Metropolitaine featuring a colourful pictorial map design showing a line of dancing wine growers and sellers some carrying baskets of grapes with the main wine areas marked - Champagne Alsace Val de Loire Bourgogne Cognac Bordeaux Armagnac Cotes du Rhone Languedoc Roussillon Cotes de Provence Corse / Corsica - and a large logo in the shape of a cockerel of a wine glass and vine leaf with a red white and blue ribbon representing the French flag on the blue background. Issued by French Government. Printed in France by Crouan & Roques, Lille, Paris. Good condition, large restored paper losses on top corners, restored tears, backed on linen.
