Original vintage LMS poster for the London Midland and Scottish Railway Derby Staff Ball - The Eighth Annual Derby Staff Ball (to which all Ladies and Gentlemen of the Salaried Staff in the LMS Service are invited) will be held in the County Assembly Rooms Derby on Friday, February 13th 1931 President: Ernest Wharton Esq. Dancing 8pm to 3am - featuring colorful artwork depicting a smiling man in a black masquerade mask and cape behind a lady wearing a yellow dress decorated with flowers and holding her mask in her hand, sitting on a red chair, with balloons next to a red and black circle and a row of smaller illustrations of happy party goers dancing in fancy dress and clown costumes in the background, the bold stylized lettering above and below with ticket information. Good condition, restored paper losses, restored tears, staining, backed on linen.
