About the Item
Original vintage sport event advertising poster for the 37th Swiss Ski Races / Schweizerisches Skirennen held in Arosa Switzerland from 5-7 March 1943. Stunning design depicting a large red flag in front of skiers on a lift and people skiing down snowy slopes under a blue sky, with the words Arosa Ziel stitched in white letters on the flag and smaller Swiss canton flags flying down its mast, the information text above. Printed in Switzerland by J.C. Muller A.G., Zurich. Very good condition, restored minor tears on top and bottom margins, backed on linen.
