Original vintage Asia travel poster for Lucknow The City of Gardens in Uttar Pradesh India featuring a great image of two ladies in traditional clothing, one holding a young baby on her side, walking through a field of purple iris flowers and grass in front of the historic Chota Imambara monument (built in 1837 by Mohammad Ali Shah as his mausoleum). Artwork by the British artist Dorothy Newsome (c.1900-1980). Printed by Calcutta Printing. Good condition, restored creasing, restored tears, restored paper loss, backed on linen.
