Original vintage travel advertising poster for Scotland Where You Are Always Welcome featuring a colourful scenic painting by the watercolour artist and designer James Porteous Wood (1919-2005) depicting Loch Achray surrounded by trees and shrubs with a building on the fields and cows drinking from the lake with the Ben Venue mountain against a cloudy blue sky background, the title in bold red letters in the margin below. Loch Achray is a small freshwater lake located in the Stirling district located in the Trossachs area of Scotland with a view of Ben Venue (the miniature mountain). Produced by Waddie & Co Ltd of Edinburgh. Good condition, restored paper losses, restored tears, restored staining, backed on linen.
