Original vintage cruise travel poster - Royal Mail Atlantis Sunshine Cruises Royal Mail Lines Ltd America House, Cockspur Street, London SW1 Royal Mail House, Leadenhall Street EC3. Colourful image featuring a lady wearing a white head shawl and colourful yellow shaded clothes behind a young smiling boy with traditional white buildings and people in the background blue a clear blue sky, the bold text in white lettering and below. Artwork by the British poster designer, Percy Padden (1886-1965). Royal Mail Lines (1932-1965) was a leading cruise ship operator created to take over The Royal Mail Steam Packet Company (founded 1839); in 1965 it was taken over by a British transport operator, Furness Withy & Company (1891-1980). Good condition, restored folds, restored creasing, restored paper losses on edges, restored tears, staining, backed on linen.
