Original vintage PLM travel poster for Thonon Les Bains ses eaux, le lac, la montagne / its waters, the lake, the mountain featuring a stunning art deco design by the notable French artist Roger Broders (1883-1953) depicting a sailing boat in full sail reflected on the calm water in the foreground with a tourist ferry boat on the lake in front of traditional stone houses, church and trees on a lush green hill leading to snow topped Alps mountains in the distance. The historic town of Thonon-les-Bains is located on Lake Geneva (Lac Leman) in Haute-Savoie in the Auvergne-Rhone-Alpes region of east France. Published by the Paris Lyon Mediterranee Railway. Fair condition, several restored paper losses, large restored tears, staining, minor creasing, backed on linen.
