About the Item
Beautiful print designed by German artist Ludwig Hohlwein. This advertisement poster for Wilhelm Mozer's delikatessen store in Munich was originally released in 1909. This is a 1985 reproduction for the Museum Of Modern Art (MOMA) in New York.
This print is in very good condition with some creasing and a very small nick on the top left side. (See pictures for details).
Ludwig Hohlwein (27 July 1874 in Wiesbaden – 15 September 1949 in Berchtesgaden) was a German poster artist, a pioneer of the Sachplakat style. He trained and practiced as an architect in Munich until 1911, when he moved to Berlin and switched to poster design.[
