Description: Antique print, titled: 'N. C. O. Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders.'
The Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders (Princess Louise's) was a line infantry regiment of the British Army that existed from 1881 until amalgamation into the Royal Regiment of Scotland in March 2006. Published by Lawrence & Bullen in London 1902. Printed in Belgium.
Artists and Engravers: Made by an anonymous engraver after 'William Barnes Wollen'. William Barnes Wollen (1857–1936) was an English painter mostly known for his paintings of battle and historical scenes and sporting events.
Condition: Very good, given age. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
