Antique print titled 'The City Shau-Chew 100 miles North of Canton'. Original antique print of a city near Canton, China. This print originates from 'A New General Collection of Voyages and Travels' by J. Green. Published 1745-1747.
Artists and Engravers: Printed for T. Astley. This illustrated four volume work is an anthology of travel narratives. It contains maps and plates of the Americas, Africa, Asia, and Europe. Edited by John Green, it is often referred to as the Astley collection for its publisher.
Condition: Fair, age-related toning. Shows some wear and marginal tears, blank verso. Please study image carefully.
